Last year, Union Health diagnosed 199 women in our community with breast cancer. How were their cancers found? A mammogram screening at one of Union Health’s three Clara Fairbanks for Women locations.

The fact is every two minutes a woman will be diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States, and all of the research proves that early detection is critical to improve survival rates.

Union Health Foundation continually offers financial assistance to women that may not have insurance coverage for mammogram screenings and diagnostic procedures. Thanks to donations, 19 patients received assistance in the last two years, and our work does not end there!

Donations have not only ensured women are able to afford essential screening services, but they have also funded the purchase of 3D mammogram equipment, genetic testing and counseling, and advanced training for our breast cancer clinical team.

Signs are available for curbside pickup Monday-Thursday from 9 AM to 3 PM, at the Union Hospital East entrance. Upon arrival, call our office at 812-238-7534. Local delivery  is also available upon request.
