Ways to Give

Donating stocks or other securities is simple and may offer favorable tax benefits. Gifts are credited on the date of transfer and valued at the mean of the high and low quoted sales price that day. To donate, transfer shares electronically through the Depository Trust Company (DTC) between your broker and Union Health Foundation’s investment custodian. Please contact us for transfer details at 812-238-7534 so we can assist with your gift.

A Named Fund is an excellent opportunity for families to establish a permanent fund in their name or in the name of someone they wish to honor or remember. It is a wonderful way to ensure their legacy of their loved one lives on for generations.

For a pledge of $25,000 or more, a donor can establish a permanent endowment in their name (or in the name of someone they wish to honor or remember).

Upon establishing a Named Fund, the donor is able to select an area to which the annual spendable portion of the fund will be used. No money will be distributed from these funds until they have been fully funded for one year.

Each year, the Foundation sponsors a variety of events designed to improve the health and wellness of our communities. Each event provides a unique way to make a positive impact and enables us to support numerous programs and initiatives at Union Health.

Memorial and tribute gifts celebrate someone who has made a difference in your life — whether a beloved friend, a cherished family member or someone you wish to thank. You choose where your gift goes and what it supports, making it especially meaningful when it helps improve the health and wellness of families in our communities.

We will notify the individual or family you designate, without sharing the gift amount, and you may direct your gift to the fund of your choice.

Help the Foundation earn money by registering with the Kroger Rewards Program. The Foundation will receive a percentage of each purchase you make.

Register your Kroger Plus Card online and link your card to the Union Health Foundation. If you don't have a Kroger Plus Card, you can get one at the service desk.
