In memory of Cynthia S. Hux Martin, the Service League of Union Hospital has established the Cindy Hux Martin Endowment at the Union Health Foundation. Cindy, who tragically passed away on December 30, 2022, was not only a dedicated community leader but also a board member and a passionate advocate for mental health awareness and support.
A magna cum laude graduate of St. Mary of the Woods College, Cindy utilized her education and talents in significant roles within her family’s businesses, Tri-Industries, Inc., and Hux Oil Corporation. Throughout her life, she skillfully balanced her professional achievements with an unwavering commitment to community service. She served on multiple boards and was recognized with numerous accolades for her impactful contributions to various causes.
The Cindy Hux Martin Endowment aims to provide vital support to patients and caregivers, with a particular focus on oncology. This focus reflects Cindy’s deep commitment to improving the lives of those facing health challenges.
